1. Purpose of This Reference
North Olmsted Residents Directory is privately operated. It points to public rolls, record indexes, and historical directory collections relevant to North Olmsted and Cuyahoga County, Ohio. It neither hosts government records nor represents a government office, court, library, or records custodian.
2. Acceptable Use
Use this service only for lawful purposes. You may not use it, or information found through it, to:
- Stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, or harm any person.
- Locate a person protected by a restraining or protective order.
- Commit identity theft, fraud, or another unlawful act.
- Make FCRA-regulated credit, employment, housing, or insurance decisions.

3. No Consumer Reports
North Olmsted Residents Directory is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq. Nothing here or returned by a linked search tool is a consumer report, and it may not be used to determine eligibility for credit, employment, housing, insurance, or another FCRA-covered purpose.
4. Outside Services
Government portals, library collections, and sponsored search services have their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control their content, availability, charges, data practices, or search results.
5. No Warranty
The service is supplied as available and without warranties. We do not promise that information is accurate, complete, current, or suitable for a particular purpose, or that an external portal will operate or produce a correct result.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, the operators are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or other damages arising from use of this service or a linked resource, including decisions based on record material.
7. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold the operators harmless from claims, demands, and reasonable attorneys’ fees arising from your misuse of the service or violation of these terms.
8. Intellectual Property
The original writing, design, logo, and layout are protected by copyright. Linking to a page and quoting a brief attributed excerpt is permitted. Republishing entire pages or systematically copying the content is not.
9. Updates to Terms
We may revise these terms by posting a replacement here. Continued use after the posting is acceptance of the revised terms.
10. Restricting Access
We may suspend or restrict access, without notice, when a user violates these terms or misuses the service.
11. Ohio Law
These terms are governed by Ohio law without regard to conflicts principles. Ohio’s Public Records Act, R.C. 149.43, governs public-office record access and does not turn this private reference into a records custodian.
12. Severability
If one part of these terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
